Our gold-tone studs are totally cosmic – the crystal arrangement reflects the 1963 date when Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman ever to fly to space on a solo mission. They've got hypoallergenic posts for comfort.
Our Valentina collection is a celebration of the first (and the youngest woman) in space: Valentina Tereshkova.
Valentina’s trip in 1963 lasted three days, and she circuited the Earth nearly fifty times. According to the story, Valentina was taking photographs of the planet from above when she radioed back down to tell her colleagues just one thing: “how beautiful the Earth is.” This collection features a scattering of stars that might appear random, but they represent the date that Valentina left Earth for her mission nearly 60 years ago.
